Hello livejournal. You're quite a varied crowd with tastes covering various musical genres. I haven't gotten much new stuff recently and want to expand my collection a bit as I've been listening to the same stuff an awful lot recently. If you could suggest maybe three albums that I could try, whether recent or not, it's more than likely that ( Read more... )

Hmm. Being permanently stressed and overtired means that I'm loving all things chilled at the moment. I can heartily recommend "Chimera" by Delerium and also "Mind How You Go" by Skye. But you cannot go wrong with Depeche Mode's "Sounds of The Universe".

There are only 3 or so albums i listen to :)

Ooh, that's the one with Hanky Panky on, that's my favourite of all her songs. I shall investigate further!

Are you against all sorts of possible jazz? Would recommending you jazz-noir made by slightly eccentric German doom metallers be a waste of time? If not, I would suggest checking out videos by Bohren und der Club of Gore on YouTube.

I can give many more musical recommendations on request, but I don't want to go on for hours.

The only part of the jazz spectrum I don't despise is the 'chick at a piano' kind. The rest makes my brain start screaming in pain. Anything but jazz please :-/
