Hang in there, and I hope today gets better! I'm glad you have Ryan around for support. Try and take it easy today, and although I know it's easier said than done, try not to let other people stress you out.

I've had that... Was your heart racing and were you short of breath?

Check out psvt or "perisupraventricular tachicardia" or however its spelled. Your heart races in a backwards rhythm, and the only way to correct it is either by riding it out, vomiting, or gagging enough that it stimulates the vagus nerve (the nerve that sits on top of your heart and controls your heart beat).

Its scary stuff, i had it happen just a few days ago and was NOT happy.

mine was something like PAV or something like that. i'm afraid if i look it up i'll become even more paranoid about everything.

Thankfully, no it doesn't make me outta breath, but it does make me feel a little light headed.

It's always good to check, but it likely wasn't anything too bad. I mean, you're under all kinds of stress, and with your medication and maybe changes in food intake... I am sure you will be fine.

(Reminds me... my father had a heart attack some time after leaving our mother, when that first "afterwards" relationship didn't work out. It was literally a "broken heart"... he recovered and is living together with a great woman now, but it got me thinking.)

If the er people said you are going to be okay, I'd trust them. When I had a panic attack and couldn't breathe, they said I was fine & I didn't believe them. I was fine though, so I should have believed them. I hope you feel better soon!
