book recommendations?

I'm looking for book recommendations from you on some books to read. i'm not really looking for anything in particular; i just don't like sci-fi or fantasy because for some reason i just can't get into them. The Shadow of the Wind, mesmerizing writing. It's a story within a story kind of thing, taking place against the background of the Spanish Civil War.

dude, you got me with this book! i'm in love with distopian novels...they are my ABSOLUTE favorite. i'm totally getting this, AND they have it for the kindle. many thanks my friend =)

"She's Come Undone" Wally Lamb
Excellent book about an overweight girl with mental issues. I think you would really like it if you haven't read it yet.

Well, I would help, but sadly, EVERYTHING I like is sci - fi or fantasy! LOL!

Good luck though! I just went through a little phase of wanting something new to read, and it lead me to starting a book I ALWAYS had wanted to read, but was afraid I wouldn't like! hahaha

btw, in your honest opinion, do you think it's worthwile to have a kindle and the nook that you're selling? are they even different enough to make it worth it? i love my kindle if that helps you give me an answer lol =)
