I quit on the patch over two years ago (October 2002.) I started smoking again about a year ago.
The patch is hell. It takes the intense suffering of quitting smoking and spreads it out for over a couple of less intense months. I didn't sleep very much on the patch thanks to the crazy nightmares that come with it... and I always felt irate, tired and sick.
Good luck with it, and staying off smokes, if that is what works for you. I found feeding my tumour, "Billy", far more productive to my life than not smoking. Smoking costs a fuckload and kills you, but DAMN does it work well for me.
hahaha.Well say Hi to Billy for me.Shit im 22 and i've been smoking since i was 13.I would like to eventually be a cop,and it would be impossible to even attempt that with half of my lungs missing.
So Far the patch is working for, along with the combination of taking welbutrin/zyban.I have yet to have nightmares/dreams/lack of sleep or have i yet to really fiend.I appreciate your blessing. \m/ and smoke one for me will ya?
