[More specifically, about 24 hours after sunset.]
[The headset video turns on, but it soon becomes clear that it's not on purpose. First it's dark. The camera's covered, but you can hear breathing. Frantic breathing; you can tell that whoever this is, they're absolutely terrified. Then the camera lifts slowly, hesitantly, to reveal in the dim

Do you need help? Do you know where you are? I could come find you and bring you some place safe. Safer, at least.

Meanwhile, a long silence. Doesn't look like she's going to answer you.
Oh wait:]
I... I don't know where I am.
...
But I can shout if you'd like, and if you're close you can hear me.
[if you've seen any MLP you already know how this is going to go.]

Well...I don't think shouting would be a good idea. Is there anything...specific about your surroundings-or, wait, I know. Pan the camera around. [Then he can see better for himself and figure out where she is. Not that...he knows anything about the layout of the island yet. But he'll check every building if he has to.]

Also, this is why shouting was a bad plan, anyway. Just... in case you haven't seen it.]
Oh, um, I think I might be able to do that. Is this the camera?
[She's never heard of a camera but he must be talking about the thing on her head so she's peeking out of her little ball again. It's dark, a little dusty... Looks like boxes. Could be the storage area.
And then she lets out a pathetic little squeak and shoves her face back into her arms because it's safer in there.]
I'm sorry, it's just... so dark.

Oh my god. Oh my god. So adorable. Yeah...he never would have been able to hear her. And here he was worried about her attracting more ghosts with shouting.]
Right. Alright, I think I know where you are. [He's quickly leaving his own hiding spot of under the bed in one of the unoccupied rooms in a random dorm building now.]
It's alright. What's your name? I'm Chimera.
Reply
My name's Fluttershy.
[And she can tell him that because he's one of the first ones who isn't so scary.]
Thank you.

It's nice to meet you.
[He's running now, so he can find where she is as quickly as possible.]
Did you just arrive here?
Reply
N-No... I feel like I've been here for days. But the sun went down and, um, it didn't come back up.
[She's wondering if she's truly far enough from home that the sun the Princess carries into the sky doesn't reach here. Which is a horrible though.]
I'm sorry that I'm ruining your game.
[Because this is a game, isn't it? That's what the writing said. And just because she's not having fun doesn't mean other people aren't.]

[He's not sure he likes the night in this place. He's afraid of a lot of things, himself, and usually the dark isn't one of them, but...with all these ghosts around, he's been reconsidering not being afraid.]
Oh, don't apologize. I have no idea what kind of game this is supposed to be, but I'm certainly not enjoying it.

I know the honking ghost was happy. Until I was rude and made him angry.
Reply
Honking ghost? [That's just as baffling as imagining her being rude, because from what he's seen so far, he doesn't think she could be rude if she tried.]

If it's okay with you, I don't really want to talk about it.

That's alright; I understand.
[He's almost there.]

That's... That's very kind of you.

Shy-can I call you Shy?-I think I'm in the same building as you are now.
Reply
If Shy is what you'd like to call me, it's okay with me. [:)]
I c-can't see you. It's too dark.
[Or maybe he just hasn't come around the corner yet, because it's not that dark.]
