Your attention to detail and excellent voices have made for an entertaining, vivid beginning. Merlin watching Arthur as the prince's energy flagged in that battle built unbelievable tension and when Arthur was defeated, like Merlin, my heart was in my throat. The magic boiling up and striking down Arthur's murderers was vivid and the confusion of the aftermath, with Merlin naked and foggy, was amusing and disconcerting.

These two sharing emotions and physical sensations is already making for a wild ride and I'm looking forward to Merlin's attempts to explain what's going on to Arthur. Poor sorcerer, he's really stepped in it this time and I bet Arthur won't even be grateful that his manservant saved his life. At first.

I'm here before casting a vote in the merslashawards and am already delighted with the first fic on offer!
