Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Have a great time. Am going to my friend T. in the east bay -- and am going to enjoy myself.

I am thankful for so many things today. I hope you are as well. Life is good when it's good! And, even when it's not, there is plenty to be thankful for and to see as a gift.

Tomorrow, nearly three years to the day I moved out, I am moving back into San Francisco. Only for six weeks, as I am doing a sublet but time will tell about finding another place there. I moved out in July of 2011, finished the move on the 14th -- tomorrow it will be the 12th. Since I am not moving all my stuff, but still have most in storage, ( Read more... )

I have some kind of deep aversion to collectivism, to "community" if you will, even though I am, from one side of my family, part of an actual, real-life tribe. I mean, an American Indian tribe, or First Nations as we are called up north - Blackfoot, Blood or Kainai band. Still, something in me just cannot stand the actual collectivist idea. Truth is... I haven't lived in San Francisco now for nearly three years. Since we left Sears Street on July 17th I believe, 2011. Off to Hayward I went for three months, and then a quick run of people to stay with till I left for Colorado in late October, October 24th, 2011. I'm struggling, and mostly succeeding at using time more efficiently, but have a ways to go. Still, it is getting better. I still overextended myself on certain projects, and started late - but hey, stuff is getting done. I am looking to improve though, and get even more done, find ways to do that, every way I can.
