Agree with absolutely everything you said. LOVED the fakeout, I thought it was perfectly played as I can usually spot them a mile away. I've never been so satisfied with a character death than with Stahl. I thought the way Hurst played it was perfection. The calm resignation was just so sad. I liked that there was really no anger in it. But then, on the other hand, the Jimmy killing was fitting too. I agree that there is *somthing* about Sutter. Part of it for me is his voice, it's gorgeous and rumbly and makes me wish he was on the show more. SOA is so fantastic and it pisses me off that it doesn't get the acclaim it deserves.
ONTD posted an interview with Sutter talking about the finale that was really interesting. ( Here you go)
Loved the finale. The twist was perfect, so much better than having Stahl actually let on that Jax was ratting out the club. I do think there was a LOT of tension with the members that made it easier for them to play angry, until they knew Stahl was dead and the deals were ripped up.
I had a lot of trouble understanding the Irish too all season. (Both in motive and speech)
Very curious to see where they go with the John Teller storyline. The allusions that we've gotten that Jemma and Clay killed him, if that's true and Jax finds out, gotta wonder what he'll do.
I loved it too. I didn't *love* the Irish storyline, but I didn't hate it either. My only (minor) complaint about it was that it took a little too long to get moving, and then about one episode too many to wrap up. However, I really loved Maureen, and liked Trinity, and hope maybe we'll see them again (especially now that Caprica has been canceled and Paula Malcolmson is available). I was super nervous for Unser, and kind of thought at first when he laid his badge & gun on the desk and then took out his other gun that he was going to kill himself. When he pulled out that joint with Stahl though, I knew he'd be fine and that she was dead. I really hope there's more for Ryan Hurst to do next season because he wasn't utilized as much this season as he deserves to be. He's fantastic.
