I have returned from the jungle. Except there wasn't as much jungle as I thought there would be. The Gorillas live on a heavily forested mountain, with woodland resembling British woodland except bigger, denser, gnarlier and meaner, and twelve foot stinging nettles with leaves the size of dinner plates. sounds awesome! one of my African colleagues has suggested a workshop in Mali in mid-December this year so I'm keeping my ears pricked up to see if I can wangle an invite :-)

Did you get photos?

I am envious. Switzewrland does not seem very interesting by comparison. Although the lakes will be lovely.

Only 4 gig worth, and film of the gorillas. But you need facebook for that and you must also wait for me to select the good ones. The full set is reserved for unfortunates closest to me, who will be restrained in chairs with there eyes clamped open.
