tuesday: i fall asleep at around 3am. wake up at 8 for a lab. class and stuff until 5. stay in lab overnight until 1 pm on wednesday. i am surviving on 5 hours of sleep. and haven't eaten anything since noon on tuesday. CS projects get you pumped up.

it is was saturday. the time is approximately 3:30 am. instead of sleeping, i am devising a finite state machine to interface a hitachi hd44780 LCD to an FPGA. what would normally take seconds/minutes to write in C/assembly has taken me an entire day to just think about because i don't get a microprocessor or microcontroller. i have to make one ( Read more... )
