OCTOBER SEVENTH

Oct 07, 2010 01:11

In light of recent events, I have been removed from the police force indefinitely.

I thank all those involved for the opportunity, and I apologize for my grievous errors.

Personally, my grandfather has advised me to return to Japan, but I have yet to make any plans.

Naoto ...

I was going to ask you if you felt all right, but I can already guess the answer to that. Is there anything you need?

I'm keeping busy with Yukiko-sempai and schoolwork. I knew I was suspended, bu this was just their final decision and I respect that.

If you need a part time job, I could help you find something else.

Thank you Teddie. Perhaps I'll let you join their ranks first and join later as your underclassman, how about that?

Other than a blow to my public image in Desai, this problem is personally quite inconsequential.

If my Grampa wants to speak with me, it would be unkind of me to ignore his request. He's been a investigator much longer than I have, so his advice would be invaluable, although I'm sure he's never done something quite like this.

The incident in Tayon that occurred last week was facilitated through a tip I received.

Damn, I'm sorry. I know that's how they like to react but don't take all the blame -even if I'm sure they would love that. Looked you up a bit after we talked last time (sorry, occupational habit) and I've got to say you're a talented detective in spite of your age -you'd think the department would know to look after it's assets better. No way any of us can keep a perfect record though, even if it hurts to admit.

If you hang around, don't hesitate to call if you need anything yeah? Official statements aside, some of us know to appreciate talented co-workers.

Thank you for all your praise and support, I'll work harder next time to live up to it.

you never know, Wayne Enterprises might be hiring... detectivewonder October 7 2010, 18:43:52 UTC
I understand how police politics work, so I see why they made that decision... but it was a stupid one. You had no way of anticipating how prepared that scumbag could be for a police raid. Your detective work was solid.

Police consultant or not, I could still use your help. And if money is an issue, I've got a decent operating budget and I'd be more than happy to pay you at least what the department was.

There was a fair amount I could have predicted to combat the suspect's movements. My work was unusually sloppy and I'll strive to improve myself in the future. However, your help in assisting the wounded officers was invaluable and you have my thanks.

I see. While appreciated, money isn't an issue, so please don't feel you don't need to match the department's wages.

I probably have a bigger budget surplus than the department. But it's up to you.
