Oh, and Bianca Manalo actually admitted that she had surgery done in preparation for the pageant. But yeah, honestly, I can't see the pageant's purpose. Sure, they keep yakking about women empowerment and shiz but, come on, sino niloko nila.

I have no care for the Miss Universe crap. Which is saying something because I'm a pervy bitch.

The matter of Semenya pissed me off though, and according to one of her relatives it isn't the first time something like this has happened. Yes, the South Africans call her beautiful (and I see where they're coming from), but also a lot of her hometown people mistook her for a guy growing up. It's not just the looks, but she's said to have a very masculine voice, even in her country's perspective.

Still, she looks woman enough to me and it sounds like a bunch of countries are being asses just because she won.

I ignore the pageant bull crap. I mean, it's not until recently (well, looking at the human civilization as a whole) that women were even included in pageants. It was dudes. Young, pretty, feminine dudes. Boys. And it was pervy men who were into it as they are now. Go figure. Not to say that these girls aren't pretty, but if you look at all the past contestants as a whole, it is whatever the fad is to be that wins. Unless she's deaf. Then she usually wins by default. I mean, she'd have to be one hell of a racist, anti-semitic deaf girl to lose.

Otherwise, why bother with the nationality thing unless it's a means to garner spectators from all over the world. So people can go, "my country has hotter chicks than yours ( ... )
