The pen that writes my story goes off the line,
Engraving each letter, engraving each mark,
It writes about blood and barrels of wine.

The ink itself is actually quite dark.

Rainbows and unicorns seize to exist,
The paper should feel being kissed.

My heart brims with tender fire,
As you fill me with desire.
She took you to your door of death,
My conscience blanks your final breath.

Listening to the echoes of footsteps in the hallways.

I sat there looking at the apple tree,

Rats roam grinning, encompassed in blood,
They bound over skeletons and avoid the crud,
Rats dig holes and trenches in the ground
They only react to shrieking ultrasound, 
Rats feel pain, and inflict it on you,
They dance the brutal pas de deux,
They're all the same; the rat, the soldier, and his foe
Digging a hell for their bodies to go.
