I'm up but the sun is not. I need to leave for work in an hour and a half. I get breakfast at work (fabulous benefit), but I'm hungry now. The answer to that problem, of course, is chocolate cake.
Yay for first day of new job. Boo for end of summer break, which was really short. -

What better name for a recipe could there be? That name says it all. Deborah Madison, whose cookbook this is from, had a comment next to the recipe that said something to the effect of, "This is a dish to enjoy alone or with a close friend, not to make for company."

I like art. Thing is though, I'm not an artist myself, nor have I ever taken any kind of art history class or any of that kind of thing. My brother is the guy who knows about art and can talk about it, and comprehends color choices, brush strokes, and composition of paintings in a way that just goes over my head.
