hah! i buy it in bulk as it is a central component to my relationship with menstruation... i don't imagine the 9 months of reprieve from bleeding & cramping (plus the 18 years of work ensuing) come without their share of pain-in-the-uteruses & elsewhere.
Hey, have you tried something stronger for your period than ibuprofen? I finally switched to mefonamic acid, which kills my other symptoms in addition to my cramp pain. IT rocks! Psst, pass it on!
Also, I loved your post the other day. So glad to see one relying on one's own resources for care and support. Stay strong, rad lady!
i haven't tried anything stronger recently... is that acid otc or prescription? i guess it probably depends on which country you're in... i end up taking frighteningly large dosages of ibuprofin sometimes which, although i've gotten the dr's okay for it, many people seem to be alarmed by.
thanks for your support! sometimes it's damned hard to return to & cultivate one's own strength & resources. but i'm workin' on it. :)
Favorite baby shower gift: a copy of Goodnight Moon -- with a note that this was among my boys' favorite bedtime books. It has such soothing repetitive text and that lovely little mouse hiding on each page.
I'm not surprised that you're in the midst of a baby boom. Many of my friends are becoming grandparents!
