+ Seeing all the adorable baby queers and the freaks and geeks who were (likely) mercilessly teased in school walking hand-in hand, wearing whatever they wanted with grins on their faces made me feel all warm and melted-chocolate gooey inside.

- big crowds, lots of smells, loud music = headache, nausea, disorientation

I think those of us with the chronic illness which is worsened by crowds should be carried around on beds, like Frida Kahlo. :) I'm sick of missing the fun but getting to and through and away from the fun nearly does me in....being carried in a fabulous bed seems like the best option, really. Actually, beds with our own air and noise filtration systems. I know it sounds impossibly tricky but I believe it can be done! :)

I'm glad you had the ++++s! It is always so sweet to see the baby queers really finding themselves and joy in who they are. Sweet, and good medicine.
