I've been watching the original Star Trek T V shows on net flicks. It's amazing how much some of them still speak to us. One treated with genetic engineering and potential unintended consequences. Another with steroid use. And some are just entertaining.

I'm reading a book by a former Navy Seal. Seems like their training is about a half iron man in some cold water.

We are leaving in the trailer tomorrow for a week. First, near the shore till Sunday then over to Delaware for 4 nights. Getting away will be good.

We have a new video. You've heard of Flat Stanley. Well we have our own flat kids. It is a third grade school project which we felt that if it is worth doing it is worth overdoing. Instead of just sending the kids postcards we sent a video too.

In October 2011 I bought a snow blower. Doctors orders. It finally snowed Saturday and I got to use it. Good thing it worked because the warrantee expired last year. It was only about 4 inches but very heavy because it had been mixed with rain. I did our sidewalk and two of the neighbors.

Who knows, maybe I'll get to use it again someday.

PSE&G fixed the power. After Sandy the power was restored but the wires were still only held up with a rope. It would not have taken much to knock it out again.
