May 27, 2005 20:25

Well, for all my adoring fans who thought I'd never write again, who lay awake at night, wondering, "why hasn't Adam written any more journal entries?" or "what will I do if I can't read Adam's journal entries," and for the occassional person who broke down and wept quietly to themselves when they thought no one was watching--I'm back, baby ( Read more... )

I most certainly did not. I don't have acess to those little accents, and if I do and I don't know about it, I don't care, because to use those little gay accents is French, and you know what I think about them.

thank you rob, and yes, you did spell it wrong, adam. and no, using accents is neither french nor gay (one and the same?). using the accents is quite simply using english instead of bastardizing it, you southern infidel. and in any event, accents or not, "protogee" is just wrong. look it up, you won't find it.

Well said Mr. Parker. Oh, and Adam, you spelled access wrong as well.

Well, I may have left out a "c" on access--a simple mistake that anyone could make. However, I still don't know what you're talking about regarding my spelling of protege; it looks right to me, absent those little accents. Furthermore, Rob, it seems to me your pointing this out is simply petty revenge for my having corrected your spelling numerous times, though I will point out that when I did so it was always in good nature and with my usual charm. Finally, Josh, if you're going to take the mantle of Defender of the English Language upon your shoulders, you might be wise to begin using an essential part of any language: capitalization. Speaking of languages, refusing to use accents is hardly a bastardization of the English language, as it, you'll remember, does not utilize accents (I hope you'll also notice that I did not begin any sentence with a conjunctive, which, of course, is a flagrant violation of the rules of the English language ( ... )

Ah, Adam found the "Edit" function in LJ. Next time I speak to you online, I'll remember to use the same grammar I would if writing a research paper.

Adam, nice entry. Please excuse the tardiness of my response. I am, as you well know, very lazy. I’ve only a few short notes ( ... )

...whatever..

i will say this though, you're right about there not being enough good news these days. did you see the story about the 14 and 18 year olds in florida killing a 53 year old homeless man "just as something to do"?

That is what the Spanish would call 'El Terrible!'

And that is what I would call "stupid."

You think that's bad? Get this. Some teenage kid threw a piece of concrete off a highway overpass right into an oncoming car's windshield. It slammed into the driver's face, instantly killing her, and her 15 year-old daughter in the passenger seat had to witness this and then take the wheel to guid the car off the road to safety. Now that is horrific.

I've heard of that sort of thing happening before. I think we should post snipers at overpasses. It would only take a couple of dead stoners to send the right message.
