True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar. It comes to see that an edifice which produces beggars needs restructuring.

Now THAT is a revolutionary statement. It reminds me of something Sojourners or some other trendy-but-sincere social justice group would use in an ad...I wish I could bring that kind of change into the world, you know?
