Carry and extra pair of socks with you. Then half way through the day, change your socks. It is amazing how much a fresh clean pair of socks can brighten your day.

Or maybe i just have excessively sweaty feet. Hmmmm.

i know we're not livejournal friends, but i was surfing journals, and came across this post, and wanted to say how awesome of a school the Urban Academy looks like. i'm not sure what i would do in your position. it seems like a really fun opportunity to teach in an interesting environment. i may look into something like this after i graduate. who knows. thanks for the link!
