Oh yes, somehow even though i thought i bombed an iterview with the Bellingham School District a week or so ago, i am now officially hired. Tomarrow i start at Kulshan Middle School as an 8th grade Special Ed teacher [i am taking over for a teacher who is going on maternity leave]. I am both nervous and excited. This morning i recieved a call from the Oak Harbor School District. They want me to come in to interview tomarrow at 2pm for an Elementary Special Ed position!

I am incredibly nervous, wish me a balanced amount of luck and skill!!!!

I dream of a ferry ride from Palermo, Sicily to Tunis, Tunesia. When i was a teenager, the first place i ever wanted to travel to was Morocco and the first out-of-highschool task i wanted to accomplish was joining the Peace Corps.

I just recieved a new piece of old wisdom from one of the old folks here at the Leopold-

"Ya gotta take the cookies when they pass them around"

He then asked me if i was takin my cookies, and i said yes.

Today i purchased, via craigslist, my first real bed ever. No need to go into details, really. It was a good deal that included mattress, box spring, metal frame, two sets of sheets and a lovely purple comforter.
