I applied to a few schools again this year, including the Uni.of Southern California - and they just invited me to fly out and check out the department! Hopefully this school can handle my jelly. -
Hostel Diary Part 1
I've taken up employment at the Bank Street Hostel here in Philly while I wait to get into a graduate program, it's a pretty sweet gig. I haven't really updated much lately, mostly because ABSOLUTELY NOTHING INTERESTING has graced my life lately. However, today was a big day for Geek Lydia. I went to my professor's husband's primate genetics lab in New Jersey and we measured our mouse RNA that we extracted last week in a nanospectrophotometer! They call it a "speck" there.
