What shade of green do nettles produce?

Depends on the mordant and pots used. Copper pots make a brighter color, iron makes a muddier color. Time left in the dye bath also matters.

Would you believe Kali and I once got an almost neon yellow from golden rod flower tips. Let me see if I can find the dye chart that Kali thinks is pretty accurate. (She demonstrates natural dyes.)

Please note that these are the wool embroidery yarns. You can get paterna in town, but DMC seems to be harder to find.
