well THAT was fun

Last night, it was kind of stormy (and dark!) with rain and wind, which is probably what caused the power to go out sometime between 11 and midnight. We were up and watching something on the DVR, and I swear it had about THREE MINUTES left on it, when *ZAP* everything went dark. Waited a few seconds, *ZAP* it came back on. Then it went out again.

you need a UPS on your TV and DVR!! No reason to miss the end of a movie!!

LOL! It might take a hell of a UPS though, as we've still got an old school CRT TV. :O

hee hee. i do hope at least they're on a surge protector. (moving was the only reason why we ditched our old tv. well, didn't ditch. it's a part of the apt now, for sale, 1 bedroom apartment, free Television included) (somehow i don't think it's helping)
