Well.

So...I didn't get into the program at SJSU that I mentioned in the last post (we won't talk about how long ago that was), but I did get into the MSA program at San Francisco State. I'll be starting that in August.

Anyone out there? :)

Sweet! (Also, weird that I did not have you friended here. Or perhaps not-so-weird, considering how long it's been since I even LOOKED at LJ. At any rate, that's now fixed.)

So, how are you?

Doing okay. :) Not knitting or spinning hardly at all, so I haven't been frequenting the store. Working, trying to start up an exercise regimen again, that sort of thing. :)

Good luck with the MSA program! Man, going back to school--that has to be both awesome and grinding. :)

Well hello there! Sorry you didn't get into that other program, but congrats on the one you DID get into! What's an MSA, anyway?

MSA = Master's of Science in Accountancy. I'm not entirely sure why it's an MS degree rather than some sort of MBA, since they're in the business school, but whatever. According to the state of CA, once I have it, I'll be eligible to take the CPA exam and maybe, just maybe, get a job? Somewhere?

YAY!!!

my apparent career would horrify my 17-yr-old-self. writing contracts?? oh god, how DULL! but i am really good at it, and generally like my job, so yay me for finding it. and my inner teenager can enjoy the toys i can purchase due to having a decent job, so she's really fine with it too.

I'm sure that my 17yo self would never have imagined me studying accounting. EVER. But there it is. :)
