"slippery slope" and more specifically, how often it is used in otherwise intelligent conversation. There are many other ways to articulate the same concept that don't sound so ridiculous.

I'm not a fan of "same difference" and "...I could care less" because the former is almost always misused and the latter should be "I couldn't care less." How about "I don't want to be painted with that brush!" That is annoying.
I don't mind "slippery slope" but I agree with the rest of yours. I am guilty of quite a few English language abuses so I have no room to really complain.
