Weddings
We get married in three weeks from today. My facebook is filled with photos of other "friends'" weddings and I'm so glad I'm not going to be in a big puffy white dress in a banquet hall surrounded by dudes in tuxedos. It may have been fucking nightmare to plan but at least I'll feel like "me" on our wedding day. -

I took on too much this semester. So close to the finish line, but I'm sad to report, the tank is empty.
I know it's the norm to ask for extensions and incompletes. Yet I take pride that I've never asked for either in my six semesters here. But grading twenty final papers, on top of producing two of my own final papers which should be publishable, ( Read more... ) -
