Tonight was interesting. I went to Vesna's cousin's place with her and watched them play poker. (I would've played, but I didn't know entirely how to play.) I got it about half way through the game. For a while, Vesna was doing really good - she was in the lead. At the end, poor Vesna bet everything on a good hand of 3 Kings and lost to a Flush. ( Read more... )

Well, my lovely time of resting has become a time of great stress.  My dad is in California right now visiting my sister.  He's scheduled to come home tomorrow, and I've just found out that he will be unable to unless I return to work.  I've been talking to a person in HR who is responsible for the decision and she is unwilling to change her mind ( Read more... )
