According to Dagoberto Gilb, the characteristic that Steinbeck obtains which makes him such an outstanding literary artist is that he wrote stories about work. Steinbeck drew his pictures with words of hard-working people who were filled with innocence but faced with evil. Aside from the terrible economic conditions of the majority of America’s population, the Thirties proved to be a crucial time period for the growth of entertainment in society. So.. this weekend has been pretty excellent. Friday, I hung out with Danielle and Mike and we saw House of Wax. This weekend was pretty cool. It definitly contained both extremes though. So Friday swing dancing was cool I suppose. We learned a few new steps, but I wish that guy were more into it. Today was a nice day. Had it's ups and downs. We started testing today and umm good times to say the least. Oh well, at least our schedules are all screwed up and exciting for once.
