The night before, I made khichidi (a porridge of split moong beans and basmati rice) and Gujarati-style spinach--and it actually turned out right! *happy* For me, that's a hug on a plate, because it's nice, warm, mushy, comforting, and yummy, and I grew up eating it. My mom would put a dollop of butter in the middle of the pile of khichidi. . .
