Are you ever tempted to tell your friend to get over it?
Do you ever find yourself realizing that it's more fulfilling to spend leisure time alone reading, wandering, or playing music?
Have you ever just wanted to tell America to pick up a book and begin?

I don't think people are reading enough. It drives me crazy.

yo shai, i wish i was there to talk about this book in your room, sitting on the empty bed, screaming about how fucking stupid all the reading is. yeah, that guy sounds like an idiot. because its not just american kids, its all kids, across every country that has access to basic technology. and incase you were feeling a bit insecure, you and i are not part of the "dumbest generation". and honestly, its not our fault, maybe if ADULT manufacturers, didnt market their ipods and laptops and shit to us, maybe we wouldnt feel like we needed them. doesnt every job application ask for your cellphone number now?

Had I known that the author would find this obscure blog amid all the others, I would've put an effort into making it a little more professional. It's more of a flow of conciousness, a reaction to just the first chapter. However, I'm glad to be exploring your perspective on this expanding dilemma in American youth culture.

And thanks for the compliment, even if it insults your work.
