One of my own is celebrating another year older. It delights me to see birthdays.

It's good of you to take an interest in these sorts of things. I can barely remember my sons' son's birthday.

My citizens are important to me. That must be problematic, however. Does he begrudge you this?

Not yet. So far, he understands our family situation quite well. (He lives with his mother.) His twin however would occasional get cross with me.
