Gasp! Emily has a crush, and it's not on Nicky Wire or a member of the Lord of the Rings cast. She denies it, of course, but I know it's true.

"Hello, we're the Manic Street Preachers and this is Motorcycle Emptiness."

. . .

I'm tempted just to leave it at that, but I never could get the hang of minimalism.

There was a life becoming a landslide ( Read more... )

I was in Reading for about a sodding hour, but figured that you probably wouldn't have your phone on you... :\

a SEMI ACOUSTIC version of faster!?!
I'm sorry, that ruined my night to an extent, and the fact that ian brown was supporting. Que lots of horrible football fans who just wanted to be gits when the manics were playing and forcing us away from the front because really ending up on the floor is not nice, especially the third time.

But oh.. i do adore the manics. Little baby nothing, Motorcycle emptiness stay beautiful dedicated to richey. You are recieving my review since i cannot be bothered to write an entry about it. They seemed apologetic about generation terrorists though, which annoyed me and forever delayed is bad.

I sound like i had a bad night... but truely it was wonderful! And i agree about venues and i think you're wonderful in real life i do. you're just fabulous

love you xxxx

I know! Jesus, those drunken flidwads who kept bawling the wrong lyrics to everything... they'd just sing along to anything. It displeases me. Ever feel like smooshing them all out of the way and saying, "Look, you're completely pointless. All of you. Please go away and self-destruct quietly so that we can get on with WHAT REALLY MATTERS." I love being self-centred, y'know?

& yeah same here - weirdly good good good and bad bad bad

They reminded me of how good they were but also how much...potential they had i suppose, that they've just wasted.
That stupid pairing will annoy me forever. Ian brown fans and (the best) Manics fans do not go well together.

That's exactly how I felt when MBA split up - wasted potential. But I guess it's even worse with the Manics; at least MBA knew when to give in.. took it further and went so much worse.

I love how we can talk in shorthand. I know no one else would understand. Can I say that again? And again? Thankyou

When you buy a ticket on the bus, they don't give you change!

I hated that too when I lived up there. Is it still 67p? Like anyone has that in change!

I am going to see Manics on Sunday!!!

No!! It's 47p, or 95p, and I didn't even have any coins, so I had to buy a HUGELY expensive pasty to break into my fiver, and...

Petty grievances, yes. But grr.

Wahooooo for sunday!! I wish I'd got Brixton instead of Wemberley... but still, manics! Again! Hurrah!
