The drive to Chico this morning was lovely, and not just because we didn't have to get up at 4 a.m. Besides lots of yellowing grass, we drove past the feeder rodent farm and the earthworm soil factory! Today, I had the worst possible flight that one can have without delays. I had a caterwauling child directly behind me, who wailed for 25 minute intervals, only stopping when he choked himself from crying so hard that he barfed, no joke.
