I figure, prehaps writing might be worth a shot. You cannot fail at writing, you can only fail at writing well. Even then, Dan Brown has shown me that you can still write a best seller if you use enough cliffhangers. So I present my first short story!

One little anachronism: The war ended in '73. Only career soldiers stuck around for the fall of Saigon.

Otherwise maybe a tad cliché and a little choppy but otherwise good.

Hey Roger, it's good to see that you're alive and well (though that might not be the best word, if these entries are anything to go by. Sorry to hear that law school is eating your soul). For awhile there, I was wondering.
