The backlash from the passing of Proposition 8 last week has been immense. There seems to have been daily protests in cities across California, Illinois, and New York, many of them in front of the local Mormon Church, protesting their immense financial contribution to the Yes on 8 campaign. I just came up from a three hour drive to Portland, Oregon, tired, but pleased with the last couple days' activities.
