Tornadoes, to me, are the most frightful of anything Mother Nature can hurl. They can form very quickly, they can grow exponentially, and they can wreak destruction like pretty much nothing else we know. Earthquakes can be scary. Hurricanes can be damaging but for sheer power and intensity, that is the element I would want to avoid. It's a tribute to the folks that stay in Tornado Alley that they willingly deal with these issues every Spring and I guess sometimes fall too?
