Initial line for picking up tickets took like hour, hour and a half..I think to get through. And line the next morning to get in....once they opened the doors and everything, it went fairly quick to actually get inside. Though then there was another line for the store to get event only stuffs, that took 2-3 hours to get through. I think the only place there wasn't a line for me was the bathrooms....since it was mostly boys in attendance...though there were more girls seemingly there this year than last. Still a small minority.
The snow is so pretty! And I love the picture with the birds in the tree.
Eeee. Those lines at Blizzcon are just plain intimidating. Then again, 12,000 is still a lot of people to have running around. (Ponies on Diablo 3 - that just cracks me up!)
Oh! I showed Fixture the Blizzcon photos - he thinks the ponies on Diablo 3 was from the gamers cracking fits over sneak peeks that were too 'colourful'. (Something about a rainbow in the background, I believe!) I was curious if that was true!
The lines were just plain crazy! They weren't like that the first year we went. But they did sell a few more tickets this year..think it was only 9,000 that were sold the first year we went.
I think that might be the case on the Diablo 3 thing, I wasn't in the session though when they first pulled that up but the later session I caught about Diablo III they did spend a bit of time discussing the color palates they were using and assuring people it was still going to have that dark turn but using color wasn't a bad thing. The amusing part of it was that the developers had t-shirts with that logo on it that they were wearing as well!

Yay for snail and nobles!
And ponies on diablo3.
Eep at line. Evil scary line. Do you only have to line up to get in, at the beginning? How long did it go on for?
Ooh at nightmare before christmas-theming.
