Laptop trouble

Our laptop has, to all appearances, given up the ghost. It is not powering on at all. The battery has been dead for months and has not been recharging, and now it will not start at all. It died in the middle of some WoW-playing, unprovoked, and with no warning.

The warrantee is long gone.

Sad... well, at least you did back up a few weeks ao, instead of a few months ago. It's pretty easy to take a harddrive out of one laptop and put it in another, we should see if yours will work in my laptop. I don't mind loaning it to you for a while if you want. (:

My battery is dead, too, though. Went to long dead without being charged up. One of the chargers did work, though. Apparently it just needed a magic touch. And it doesn't have wireless... but it's something, right? (:

Goodness... I thought your laptop was broken? Apparently it isn't, or you wouldn't be offering it to me. :) I would greatly appreciate trying your laptop for a little while, if we are unable to arrange something else soon. The offer is greatly appreciated. In addition, I haven't seen you in a while--perhaps we could meet somewhere soon?
