To make a long story short, it seems the laptop is suffering from motherboard malfunction, and we will have to buy a new one--if we do, it will be from eBay, where they only cost $150-$400, instead of the $500 Dell is asking for. Maybe we'll get a tax refund this year.

In the meantime, any Internet we get will be borrowed and breif.

I hope everything with your laptop works out: I always get bummed out whenever my compy breaks down...

When we talked about Second Life and World of Warcraft tonight, i forgot to mention how to get ahold of me should you decide to try SL out! **facepaws** I suppose it's not that big of a deal. In the Second Life welcome area, there are lots of mentors and liasons that can help you do just about anything. If you were to ask one of them for help in sending a message to Ed (Padraig Stygian) or me (Lindsey Dassin), i think they'd be very accommodating. =)

I'm not sure if you'd see anything in Second Life if you're already into WoW, though...
