So much darkness underlying the porn. Maybe, if John lets go of himself a little, and trusts Rodney, he can learn to enjoy sex with another man, instead of using it as some sort of punishment.

I have a feeling that our genius will suss out what's going on sooner rather than later, and cut John off. Or, go with it while losing what little self-respect he has left, hrm?

This kind of thing could destroy both of the guys, and that's what I like so much about this fic. There's the porn, oh yes, but there's so much more going on under the surface that's just hinted at. Makes me wonder why John's using sex with Rodney as a punishment and a distraction.

Ah, you've made me a very happy person. :) When I was getting ready to post this, I was kind of wondering if I should mark it as a PWP or something, but I didn't really want to because there was more to the story than just sex. So, knowing that the underlying story is being noticed makes me just jump up and down with glee. :)

And you're completely right that Rodney's going to figure things out at some point. I mean, he's too smart and I think he knows John too well to not catch on. And now you're making me want to write about that!

Even though this was a fic I never planned on writing, I keep wanting to write more of it and explore some of the stuff I just hinted at.... I think I'm just an angst addict. :)

Thank you so much! Dark fics or majorly angsty stuff seems to be pretty much all I write these days, but I really wanted there be some sort of change in this fic, even if it was just that one small act of acceptance at the end. Like you said, it signals that there may be some change or improvement in the future, and I think that possibility was needed to really complete the fic.
