I didn't have a cover up, per se. I just had an old tattoo completely relined and recolored. The new artist also tweaked some of the old lines to make it more appealing etc. It's a rather large fairy on my left ankle that was looking pretty weak. The guy who originally did it 9 years ago didn't have a lot of talent in the shading department, so it just looked washed out and crappy. He'd also made some mistakes on her face and hair. I couldn't believe how awesome the reworking turned out. Most awesome.

I had my fairy redone. I had become more and more disappointed with it over the years. It looks fuckin' incredible now.

I'm going to get my first tattoo---when I quit smoking and some time has gone by, then I'm getting a tattoo to reward myself. My theory is that because the tattoo will be permanent, maybe the quit smoking will be, too.

Weird, I know, but these illogical things sometimes work out for me.
