Some vacation pics

I'm waiting to get copies of my mom's pictures (she took 800 and some videos), as I found it hard to take pictures and manage my cane. But here are some highlights.

Should I live long enough to retire, I am retiring to the beach. A beach bum cat lady. That will be me.

You know that's my dream, too, so hold on, lady, and you can come visiting. I'm gonna have a beach house where cats are welcome, and lots of shades and even my own small stretch of beach!

Boy, I love that light, is so... crisp? joyful? whatever the opposites of glum .

I had to laugh at Topaz. Sauron, my sister's cat, with whom I share a small apartment when I'm here, does that to me everytime I pack! LOLOL!

I'm looking forward to more pics. I so miss the sea when I'm not here!

Oh gosh, those pictures are gorgeous! Could you really see the water from your room? I'm looking out my window and then back at my screen and trying not to cry.

Believe me when I say that the current view of ice and snow out my window just doesn't cut it. :(

It was -20F yesterday - nothing was keeping me warm enough for that!

I'm glad to be home.. sort of. I'd rather take all my furry friends to live at the beach though.

It was gorgeous. I love the beach. I sat there for hours watching the surf and colors.

Of course I did. I even stopped and bought cat food to feed her. :>)

My parents said it was the best vacation they've ever had, so I'd call that a success. I haven't looked at my credit card yet, as I don't want to know how much money I spent.
