Thank you for the update. I've loved your posts over the years, especially the photo posts of your lovely home. I'm glad to know you're spending your time there.
I greatly enjoyed (and have saved) our correspondence during the LIW course last year. I think of you when I look at Laura and Almanzo in the cutter, so you will always be close by in my mind.
I am so glad that we took that class together, as we got to know each other better that way. I am blessed to have been surrounded by beautiful things as I think the Lord knew that I needed that joy around me. But the greatest joy has been having friends from all over the world to share this life with. I hope you with Mr. L find all the joys you seek.
Oh, dearly beloved! Please forgive me for selfishly wanting to hold onto you and not let you Leave. You are such an inspiration to me through your faith and your unspeakably beautiful, profound writing. Your testimony has reached so many people, and there are great rewards waiting for you when our Lord and Master says, "Well done, My good and faithful servant."
Continue to hold tight to His hand, and when you feel unable to do that, remember, precious one, that He is holding you in His gentle arms and carrying you close to His loving heart.
We who love you and Him will continue to pray for you and your loved ones and medical team -- especially that you will be as pain-free as can be. Would that we lived closer, but the blessings you have shared with us will grow long after you and we have all gone Home.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to SHINE upon you and be gracious unto you. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
You are up there with my role models, Carol. I'm so happy that your doctor managed to get you home care, and I'm glad that you get to be there, among those beautiful things you love and at home. Thank you for being so brave and thoughtful. You're in my thoughts. I feel a better person for knowing you. Hugs.
I am so grateful for all the things that my doctor managed to get for me that has made my life better here at the end, just as I am glad for each one of you know that I have known because all of you have shaped who I am. I am grateful for you and all the things that you have helped make me into
Dot, I am so grateful for the people that lookin on me, doing everything from calling me at the times that my meds are due to the ones that pick up my groceries and fill my birdfeeders and every other in numerable thing that people do that make life so much more enjoyable ( where there is no delivery service! ). One of my regrets is those of you who live across the pond who will never get to meet on the side of the earth. It is a good thing that life does not end but only separates upon death. It gives us so much more to look forward to!
