I met this Soldier when I was attending West Point in the 1980's. He had dinenr with the Corps and spent ten minutes at my table talking to folks and encouraging us to find our own excellence.

I wasn't implying that you didn't graduate-it just sounded like you didn't from your post "when I was attending West Point in the 1980's".
It is good to know that the Long Grey Line does produce decent officers....(running for cover now!)
