This afternoon I played Real Tennis for the first time. It was simply awesome. One of the most fun games I've ever played.

I think one of the reasons it so appealed to me was that it was the closest real sport has ever come to a Bellamy Sport. It's a game made up to suit the environment, with added special rules here and there just to make things ( Read more... )

At half time, I thought it might not get very exciting. Thankfully, a four goal second half livened things up a little. Some great goals for the Germans, and a decent one for Portugal brought a fitting end to the tournament for those teams ( Read more... )

Nearly there. Two more matches. Two more sleep deprived nights. Which is good in a way because I'm running out of things to say. I'm feeling somewhat meh about both upcoming matches, though I maintain my desire for Italy to lose the final. I'm still bitter.
