So I finally finished watching the Let's Play, and I loved it. It was like watching a cool scifi movie.

What were people's issues with it other than the chronology/affect it had on connecting with the lead?

I didn't like [Spoiler (click to open)]the Navajo section, the date with Ryan or the, I forget what it was called - the political assassination in the Middle East. But those were episode specific dislikes. Not game-wide.

Also I thought the Zoey ending was totally the best one. (plus most interesting option for possible sequel.)

(IDK if I need to mark spoilers for this? it's been out a while and I tried not to mention specifics, but just in case.)

[reasons I hated the game]Well, I for one didn't like the way that it wasn't consistent. Like how close/far could Aiden go? How connected were the two? There was one point where Ryan shot a guy Aiden was controlling in the stomach and Jodie went off on him. Up until this point, you never see this connection, and you never see it again ( ... )

Ah, this is the problem with Let's Plays, I didn't get to experiment with that myself. From what it looked like, I thought there was a consistent distance that Aiden could get before everything went shadowy and weird.

Therapy isn't the cure all people represent it as. Success rates aren't that much higher than the recovery rates of people who go untreated. It's a it like prayer or going to confession or leaving an offering at a shrine - it's something people tell you to do when they don't have a solution but don't want to admit to the fact.

It's not a cure all, but it may help you to get further. Dismissing it as a prayer/offering is dangerous.

Agreed. But it's still an area worth exploring if you have nothing left to try or nothing to lose.
