SOME PEOPLE SAVE THEIR MONEY, KEEP ON THE SHELF, OH, GOOD FOR THEM, THOUGH I'M RUNNING LOW MYSELF...

I'm broke. I'm so broke, it's not even funny. I'm not really sure where my money goes, I just know that it slowly disappears into the void that is food, gas, drinks, DVD's, and books.

Oh wait. Maybe that's where it's going ( Read more... )

DAMMIT! There was a little voice telling me, "hey, maybe we should stay for the credits?" and I ignored it. *sob*

There was much cheering in my theatre. And we clapped at the end. :)

It's on youtube! Go find it and watch it, because you'll totally freak out. I fangirled SO hard over it, it wasn't even funny. (Or rather, it was incredibly amusing to the rest of my friends...)

I saw it at midnight on Friday, which wasn't as crowed as I thought it was going to be, but even our theater clapped and cheered at the right moments. It was pretty awesome, actually. I love when the whole theater is into it.

I went through a lot of that myself... it took me two years to see the cash flow turn positive again, and that was with a lot of work. I ended up in some debt. I'm now paying it off... the debt built up over a couple of years.

Suze Orman's book Young, Fabulous and Broke is good for people our age... reading that helped me focus and start making headway.

I'm going to have to look into that book... I've heard really good things about it, I just never got the chance to actually check it out. I'm not in terrible debt, but it's enough to be a little worrisome, and my school loans are going to last for a while... those are the big ones, really.

BTW, you might expect a phone call from me, some time in the near future. I'm going to be putting together plans for NYC Pride soonish, and would love to actually get to see you there, instead of always talking about it after the fact!

Today, my Dad attempted to take control of my fiances, which I wasn't too pleased with.

Always awful when your dad messes in your love life.

Seriously, though, I hope it all works out for you.
