spent the morning figuring out what was wrong with the test circuit, ordering a new one (since i blew up the last one...) and testing my circuit to make sure it works properly (which it does.) After lunch, we had a training video about ESD and OSHA regs, then I spent some time in the machine shop punching the holes in my project box for my circuit.
today I spent most of the day finishing my circuit and attempting to make it work....it appears that mine works fine, but that somehow I may have destroyed the chip I was supposed to test in the first place....may have been a incorrectly connected power supply?
