When something ends, it's over. If there was some kind of "ending," that would mean that we're in some kind of aftermath.

I don't know if that's true or not.

I can't remember a lot of things when I should. I know there's something there and I can't get to it.

It might be fine and normal for some people, but I never forget anything. Especially not like this.

[pauses, blinking. suddenly he's a little off-balance] Not that I .. I mean. I don't know from experience, but uh. I seem to remember that happening. So if you never forget anything normally, maybe Crucible is interfering and making you forget.
